Do not be fooled by others selling "black lights".
Our 165 to 195 nanometer Ultraviolet lighting system is specifically
made so that you can see bodily
fluids of all kinds.
What is Ultraviolet (UV) light and what does it do?
Light is form of electromagnetic energy that moves in measurable
waves. The human eye is capable of seeing only a small segment
of the spectrum known as visible light: shorter and longer
wavelengths are not visible. This means that shorter length
cosmic rays, gamma rays, X-rays and UV light and the longer
length infrared and radio waves are all invisible to humans.
More than 3,000 natural and man made substances can transform
invisible radiated UV energy into longer, visible wavelengths
that appear in a variety of colors. This is because the molecules
are easily excitable. When the UV light strikes the molecules
they rotate violently that will now make them visible using
the your UV light
HOW TO USE YOUR “UV” LIGHT AND EVIDENCE
KIT
1) For the best results look for your evidence in a darkened
room or area.
2) Pass the UV light over the suspected area very slowly because
there might be only a small amount of traces to see.
Start your scan low (about 2 inches) away from the fabric
or suspected area. Finish approximately 12 inches away
(different types of stains react differently on different
fabrics)
3) If sample found then proceed to the Tru-test
Enzyme Test
Important
Fact
The reason that our Ultrviolet lighting system has a "black
light" covering is besause real
ultraviolet light without protective coating will burn your
skin "like tanning beds" and can also cause vision
problems if light is shined in eyes.
